Type setting

We perform a full range of pre-press services including copy editing and typesetting for scientific, technical and medical books and journals. We perform typesetting in Quark, 3B2, FrameMaker, TeX and LaTeX

We have hands on experience in handling complex mathematical & scientific composition using TeX/LaTeX. We can undertake jobs in TeX or LaTeX with customer provided style/class filesAll titles involving complex mathematical equations are set using 3B2, all non-math titles are set using FrameMaker and simple math titles and colour books are set using Quark Xpress.

Error free text with embedded tags received from the data entry department is loaded onto the relevant page make-up software to begin formatting of the title. The formatted pages are then printed and sent to the Quality Assurance department for quality checking.
Since we specialize in handling heavy mathematical/complex sets using Latex2e features, as part of production support we have developed a big range of style/class files.

TeX and LaTeX

TeX is a typesetting system "intended for the creation of beautiful books, especially for books that contain a lot of mathematics''. TeX is a macro processor and offers it's users a powerful programming capability.

LaTeX is a TeX macro package that provides a document processing system, LaTeX allows mark-up to describe the structure of a document, so that user need not think about presentation. By using document classes and add-on packages, the same document can be produced in a variety of different layouts.
